Okayama is one of the major industrial regions in Japan. The OUS forum, held every autumn, consists of talks by invited speakers from Japanese private companies, presentations of the latest OUS research topics, and about 80 research poster presentations, for the purpose of fostering research seeds at the university and matching these with the social needs of private companies.
