Research and development of ecosystem for next generation electric vehicles

To prevent global warming and energy problems and realize the safety and comfortable drive, components for next generation electric vehicles (EV) are produced experimentally by our project. The features of the components are in-wheel motors with built-in SiC inverters, DC/DC converters for waste heat generators, wireless power supplies, superconducting motors and image sensor based visible light communications. They act as ecosystem in EV and related technologies.
The main developed components are follows:
(1)Direct drive in-wheel motors with built-in SiC inverters
(2)DC/DC converters for waste heat generators
(3)Wireless power supplies without inverter systems
(4)Superconducting super motors
(5)Image sensor based visible light communication
The systems are implemented by microcomputers which have 32bit floating point units and multi-function timer units to control the components.
